I was a little apprehensive about how to handle this one as it was quite unusual but I actually found the linen content made it pretty easy to handle as it responded so well to pressing. I think it would be easy to stretch out of shape but I was aware of this from the start so was really carefulFiona Parkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02009622644944619042noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8566831796183567008.post-85407285624790701332016-05-30T07:54:40.276+01:002016-05-30T07:54:40.276+01:00Thanks Nathalie! Oh man, those loopy terries really shed little bits, don't they? Every time I cut French terry for a Hell Gate order, I get so many little fuzzies everywhere!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8566831796183567008.post-37597603868987481882016-05-12T08:43:13.688+01:002016-05-12T08:43:13.688+01:00Oh wow, this looks so good! I can imagine the colours you describe as a long time ago I made a silk skirt with thick slubs in the weave that was essentially grey but actually had tons of minute threads of all sorts of colours. Congratulations on stitching with a knit which I admit having had little success with even though I've been sewing for decades.Georgie Munrohttps://fishpetalsdofly.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8566831796183567008.post-29744730385529334442016-05-10T20:28:26.166+01:002016-05-10T20:28:26.166+01:00That sweater looks great!
